Anguilla resort offers special package to coincide with US government’s passport initiative

Arawak Beach Inn offers complimentary day trip and rates starting at $60 per night

Anguilla, BWI (June 28, 2006) – Just in time for the December 31, 2006, implementation of the US government’s passport initiative, which will require all US citizens to carry a passport to enter/re-enter the US from travel anywhere in the Caribbean, Arawak Beach Inn is offering the Passport to Paradise package. To encourage prospective travellers to the Caribbean to get their first passport and have Anguilla be the premier stamp, the resort is offering rates from $60 per night, per person.

Arawak Beach Inn’s Passport to Paradise package includes accommodation for four nights and a complimentary private day excursion to a secluded beach on an uninhabited island, including gourmet packed lunch. Available to first-time passport holders, rates start at $240 per person, based on double occupancy, priced seasonally, not including tax and service charges, and are valid through June 30, 2007, subject to availability.

For those who have already experienced the wonders of Arawak Beach Inn or Anguilla, the package is also available to veteran passport holders with two or more Anguilla stamps. This incredibly priced getaway, which works out to just $60 per person, per night, is reason enough to line up for a passport!

For reservations call 1-877-4-ARAWAK or e-mail relax@arawakbeach.com. For more information see their listing under Anguilla accommodations at www.caribbean.com.
