New gourmet restaurant opens in Aruba

Windows on Aruba caters to aficionados of golf and fine dining

Oranjestad, Aruba (April 30, 2007) – Introducing its premiere facilities and services, brand new restaurant Windows on Aruba opened April 14, 2007, for patrons who enjoy the luxurious pleasures of golf and fine dining.

Fully glass enclosed and air conditioned for optimal comfort in any weather, this elegant restaurant easily ranks among Aruba’s best. Built in the round, Windows on Aruba boasts sweeping panoramic views over The Links’ picturesque ninth-hole lagoon to the azure Caribbean beyond.

These stunning views form the ideal backdrop to the artfully created menus from celebrated Chef de Cuisine Leendert Klaassens. Prepared with only the best ingredients and utilizing the latest innovative cooking methods, the four-course gourmet menu is rotated on a weekly basis. Created with the connoisseur in mind, the light European-international-style dishes include both hot and cold appetizers, as well as exquisite entrées that can be served with a matching wine arrangement selected to complement the meal.

Sample menu items include creamy cauliflower soup with escargots and black truffle shavings, frog’s legs and low-temperature cooked monkfish with mushrooms risotto and a roasted garlic sauce, gently simmered shoulder of beef sautéed with duck liver, red cabbage and potato mousseline and a crème bruleé of Epoisse de Bourgogne with Granny Smith apple sherbet.

Windows on Aruba is located directly above Mulligan’s Golf Café, Bar & Restaurant on the third floor of the golf Clubhouse at The Links at Divi Aruba, just steps away from the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort and the adjacent Divi & Tamarijn Aruba all inclusives. Dinner is served nightly between the hours of 6 and 10:30pm except for Mondays. Patrons are encouraged to make advance reservations.
