Located at the junction of Fresh Creek and the Atlantic Ocean. Andros Lighthouse Yacht Club and Marina is prominently marked by its namesake a 107 year old lighthouse now the logo of Andros Island, Bahamas.
Besides being a part of the Bahamas history our private beach park is the ideal place to swim, relax, snorkel or explore.
Rooms
We offer two types of accommodations. A standard room with either a pool side or harbour view, and spacious villas.
Our Villas have stone tile floors, ceiling fans and either a balcony or patio. Includes AC, refrigerator, cable TV, phone and plenty of space for you to relax in.
Getting Here
Travel to Andros Lighthouse is easy with a little planning. From Nassau, Bahamas Ferries has three trips weekly that leave from Potters Cay at the foot of Paradise Island bridge.
The ride is a short 39 mile air conditioned comfortable pleasant trip. While cruising along when you see the ocean turn from aqua to a deep blue you are over the "tongue of the ocean." Here the water drops from a depth of 25 feet to 6,000 feet, a diving and fishing paradise. The US Navy also uses this area for submarine testing.
Activities
Andros is known for being very relaxed. You can take long romantic walks along the beach, lay by our freshwater pool and soak up our warm tropical sun or explore our beautiful island. Andros has exotic wildlife and unexplored landscape.
