Description:
As boundaries are lost, opportunities appear. You're not looking at a mirage. You're looking at Deep Water Cay. For half a century, time has stood still, just as it does when a bonefish comes up on a flat and chases your fly. It stops in a way that's similar to your first drift over a bottomless, blue hole and when you watch a hooked tuna tear across a slick surface. You can savor every tug on your line as you do the clear water. Soak in every bit of the island as the water gently laps at your feet. The salt, sand and sea rejuvenate your soul. Just go slow. At Deep Water Cay, you've got all the time in the world.

Accommodations
Accommodations at Deep Water Cay are comfortably relaxed. Individuals or fishing partners typically prefer our Cabanas. The Cabanas are one-bedroom units with a private bathroom and two full beds. Each Cabana has a front porch, which overlooks a bonefish flat. Each Cabana is appointed with a refrigerator, coffee maker, walk-in closet, and air conditioning. You'll be situated equidistantly from the Clubhouse, Welcome Center, dock, and Infinity Pool.

If you prefer, private homes are available. Our private homes are more spacious and include full kitchens, sitting and living rooms, dining areas, and wrap-around verandas. In these cottages guests are treated to morning sunrises, evening sunsets, and unparalleled water views. Choose from a variety of cottages to suit your group's particular needs.

Dining
You must meet George Jackson, the club's new Food and Beverage Director. When it comes to preparing a culinary masterpiece, George has no shortage of passion and commitment. In his previous life, he owned two successful seafood and Caribbean cuisine restaurants in Savannah, Georgia. Recently, George worked with our kitchen staff to refine favorite island dishes and to expand our selections of fresh, local seafood. He is happy to accommodate any particular dietary needs, and Deep Water Cay is very fortunate to have George aboard.

In addition, Rebecca Mason spent ten days at Deep Water Cay. Rebecca is a Cordon Bleu trained Pastry Chef, and thanks to her you'll enjoy homemade ice cream, sorbets, new desserts, and a variety of freshly-baked breads.

At the end of an exciting day on the water, cool libations make for tall tales. Mix it up with a wide variety of new club drinks including Deep Water Cay originals, the Green Flash and the Bahama Mama. Our new wine list is sure to please your palate. With a wider variety of quality wines including value-oriented table wines and select boutique varietals, a full bar, and local beer, you'll be sure to have an enjoyable evening as the sun goes down.

Spa
Two private massage rooms and adjoining showers are also available in the Fitness Center. Professionally-trained therapists offer a wide range of therapeutic massage. From Deep Tissue to Reiki to Reflexology, you'll have your choice. Our therapists come from off-island, and advanced bookings are necessary.

After a day on the water followed by a workout, what better way to get ready for an evening of fun than with a massage. Then all you have to do is walk the few steps to the Clubhouse for happy hour and appetizers. And watch the sun set over the Infinity Pool. Dangle your feet in the water if you like. Dinner will be ready soon.

Activities
Fishing has always been an integral part of Bahamian life, and it is the foundation on which the venerable Deep Water Cay was created. Throughout its distinguished fifty plus year history, Deep Water Cay has hosted some of the most adventurous and distinguished fly rodders. Joe Brooks, Curt Gowdy, Ray Bergman, Stu Apte, Flip Pallot, Lefty Kreh, Chico Fernandez and Sandy Moret are a few of the most recognized names. So come on down and add your name to the roster.
