The first property is a luxurious resort in a 280-year-old mansion, which was given top billing by the Conde Nast Traveller Gold List of The Best Places to Stay in the Whole World. Guest chambers and suites have luxurious amenities including flat-panel TVs and private telephone lines. There is a state-of-the-art spa. Outdoors, cool verandas lead to terraced gardens and three swimming pools. The resort also boasts the only five-star restaurant in The Bahamas.
The adjacent property also houses a cigar factory and you may stay in one of seven junior suites, each named after one of the signature cigars hand-rolled on the premises. The suites have marble floors, jacuzzis and antique furniture and each has a private patio for meditation or enjoying a good cigar. The Churrascaria steakhouse is on the property for alfresco or indoor dining.
