The Lone Star is an exclusive boutique hotel, restaurant and bar, where its owner, the English actor Christian Roberts, has created a stylist retreat. Four air-conditioned suites, with shady terraces overlook the dazzling white sandy beach. The suites decorated in cool contemporary style, a collaboration of Italian soft pieces and local Bajan mahogany furniture. Reflecting the Lone Star?s history, each suite is named in honour of an automobile legend: Cord, Studebaker, Lincoln and Buick. Lone Star knows how important a night? sleep is, their clients fly in from the four corners of the earth, thus all rooms have enormous comfortable king size beds, white fluffy towels, robes and fragrant Ren bathroom products.
The Lone Star restaurant, with spectacular ocean-front setting, is described by delighted diners as ?a temple of cool?. The Executive Chef and his team of local chefs, create gastronomic marvels in airy open plan kitchens. The restaurant has a breezy beach bar atmosphere during the day, and in the evening it transforms, becoming a chic canteen featuring world food with a Caribbean twist, including signature dishes such as chicken tikka masala, tuna tartar and fresh blackened dolphin with sweet potato mash and mango lime salsa, created from fresh local produce.
