A delightful hotel, South Gap offers friendly and affordable accommodation. Each of the 34 rooms boasts a spacious oceanfront balcony or patio with breathtaking views.
Constructed on four levels the ground floor consists of pool deck, restaurant and bar and five oceanfront garden units.
Your choice of one bedroom and studio apartments (all oceanfront) exist on each further floor, all of which are self-catering.
ACCOMMODATIONS
All of our rooms face the ocean and have either a patio or balcony with full view of the beautiful Caribbean Sea. All rooms have a split-system air-conditioner and ceiling fan, and are furnished with either one queen size bed or two twin size beds.
Each of the thirty-four units boasts a spacious balcony or patio and contains a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, two burner hob or stove, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery.
OUR ROOMS
Superior Studio
All Superior Studios are ocean front and have balconies with exceptional views. These double occupancy rooms are furnished with one queen sized bed or twin beds in the bedroom. This is an open plan unit with kitchen.
Junior Suite
These mini suites are ocean front and are located on our pool deck. Each bedroom is fully air conditioned and furnished with a queen bed. A mini kitchen with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge and a counter top stove for simple cooking. There is a living area with pull out sofa to accommodate a third person.
Deluxe One Bedroom Suite
These spacious One Bedroom Suites with private bedroom can accomodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children OR (4) adults. Fully equipped with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove, refridgerator and an en suite bath. Our spacious living room area carries a pull out sofa for additional bedding. All balconies are ocean front with a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining.

South Gap Hotel is located in St. Lawrence Gap, which is the prime entertainment and nightlife strip along the south coast of Barbados.This street is filled with Bars, restaurants and nightclubs, all offering great service and phenomenal entertainment.Sample from the delectable menus of a wide selection of fine,world-class dining spots offering diverse cuisines including Mexican, Italian and Chinese; there is even an Irish pub!
The hotel enjoys an enviable position right on the waters edge with the sea lapping up to the side of the ocean facing pool deck and it is within five minutes walking distance to the spectacular Dover Beach.
Features and activities description: Our new in house restaurant, Tropical Mist Bar and Restaurant is located on the ground level close to the hotel pool. Open daily from 7 am serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with happy hour twice daily - 12 noon to 1 pm and 5-6 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays the happy hour is extended from 5-7 pm.
Local area information and attractions description: The Barbados Golf Club is located 10 minutes drive from the hotel and the popular Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry is located 5 minutes drive away. There is free Aqua Aerobics twice weekly and car hire and tours are arranged at reception. The stunning Dover Beach is less than five minutes away with stunning views and water activities.
