Description:
The Maya Lodge is a private home that can be rented in the village of Placencia in southern Belize. Unlike many other rentals, the Maya Lodge is located within the village and is easy walking distance from the beach (3 min), many restaurants along the sidewalk, grocery stores and specialty shops. Located on a canal, guests have boat access to the Caribbean, swimming and fishing directly from the dock. The house has two large bedrooms with queen beds, a sleeping loft, full kitchen and two bathrooms.

The lodge has two large bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each and a full bath with hot shower adjoining each one. The sleeping loft has two twin beds and all linens are provided. A large living room with cable TV and DVD player and full kitchen with all cooking utensils are available. The beautiful hardwoods of Belize are utilized throughout the house. The lodge is locally managed and a caretaker lives in the bottom of the house and is a great source for information.
