About
A dream realized by Italian fashion designer, Piergiorgio, this white clapboard inn has a wrap-around verandah adorned with ornamental gingerbread, characteristic of Sosua's glory days in the Victorian era. The front entrance replicates a gazebo and faces a dramatic marble staircase that ascends to the third-floor, Italianate penthouses with expansive sundecks.
Accommodations
Romantics take to the pink and white floral guest rooms, half of which have ocean view, (the rest overlook the kidney-shaped pool). The bathrooms with their Italian appliances, (bidets, too) add style. With its own brand of Italian hospitality and friendly Dominican staffers, the inn has a magnetic charisma and guests have trouble leaving, which is why three new apartments have been configured for extended stays.
Dining
Atop a cliff with a steep ocean drop, you are pampered by caring waiters, as you overlook the precipice and the Atlantic waves crashing below. Acknowledged as the best-view property in the area, the vista extends from a panorama of the bay to the smoky, cloud-capped silhouette of Mt. Isabel de Torres. It's reputation as Sosua's most romantic spot, is equally as renown.
Cascades of pink bougainvillea rustle in the sea breeze. Round tables are dressed in crisp pink and white linen and by night the shade trees and colorful tropical plantings and oft-times musicians play in the bandstand and for special events, folkloric groups.
Activities

Golfers can always be assured of a warm welcome at Piergiorgio's. An 18-hole, Robert Trent Jones designed course is less than 30 minutes away, in the Playa Dorada Resort complex. It has some of the most reasonably priced greens fees in the country.
