Fronted by Culloden Bay in rural Tobago, Footprints is 62 acres of reforested former sugar and cocoa estate. After 17 years of continuous operation, we're still the only purpose-built eco resort on the island. We've carefully considered every aspect of our design and operations to reflect this environmental consciousness. This harmony is evident in our sustainably constructed buildings, eye-catching butterfly gardens, and unique salt-water pools.
Our building are unobtrusive, designed to enhance rather than overshadow the beauty of Caribbean blue waters and rolling green hills. Throughout the property you'll find reclaimed, recycled and sustainable building materials. The units' rustic exteriors blend harmoniously with the landscape. Inside you'll find warm wood tones, vibrant tropical decor and local artwork.

Engage your sense of wonder in our butterfly gardens, and spot the many bird species on a peaceful walk throughout our wild and manicured green spaces. Pristine Culloden Reef is also right at our doorstep and is one of Tobago's best kept secrets. Dip into the underwater world few get to experience. Snorkel the dense world filled with colourful coral and reef fishes. Kayak along the coast to visit unique tide pools offering natural acquaria and refreshed by each tide.

With just ten units scattered across the spectacular spot, privacy is guaranteed for families looking for a quiet retreat, or couples seeking quality time together. Family reunions and student groups are also welcome, and group rates are available upon request.
The Cocoa House Restaurant
Specializing in a fresh "farm-to-table" approach, the restaurant features authentic local cuisine and house specialties in a unique ambiance. Organic produce from the resort's garden is used preferentially to ensure the freshest herbs and product possible. The replica Cocoa House features a working retractable roof, allowing you to dine under the stars.
We're Family friendly! Children under 12 stay free if sharing a unit with parents.
Children under 5 eat free, and children under 10 eat 1/2 price.
