Our open-air facilities, extensive beach and detatched rooms allow you to unwind in isolated luxury. Each of the 8 beachfront cottages features a spacious split level lounge and patio, while the large wrap-around decks and private plunge pools of the 17 hillside pool suites afford the added luxury of soaking up the Caribbean sun from the privacy of your own sun bathing deck.

Our multi-tiered, al fresco restaurant is quintessentially Caribbean. Set up against the beach, it is just another picturesque element of the property, offering unobstructed views of the bay and a perfectly intimate setting. Though the restaurant is one of the hotel's most charming attributes, you may also enjoy dining by the pool, in the lounge, or on the beach. Room service, private dining under the stars, and picnic lunches are available as an additional service. Regardless of setting our staff go to great lengths to ensure that every meal is artfully presented and just delicious.

Getting There
Nestled into a breathtaking, hidden cove on the southwest coast of Antigua, Hermitage Bay is surrounded by lush, untouched hillsides and the brilliant blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. In the distance, the islands of Montserrat, St. Kitt's and Nevis form silhouettes on the skyline, scenic backdrops for the picturesque sailboats and luxury yachts anchored in the bay and nearby harbour. The large, natural mangrove that adjoins the property supports a unique and intriguing eco-system of its own and enhances the natural beauty of the bay with its still, dark waters and diverse plant life.
Hermitage Bay is about 40 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from the capital of St. John's and just 10 minutes away from the Jolly Harbour marina complex that offers shops, restaurants, golf and tennis. While the hotel is close enough to accommodate day trips into town or excursions around the island, there is private dirt road that separates Hermitage Bay from the rest of the world and "aids in the isolation of the resort."
