The hotel lies at the Surinamese river within walking distance of the beautiful Palm Garden, the historic Fort Zeelandia, the presidential palace and the picturesque waterside with its characteristic almond trees. A ten minute stroll takes you to the historic town centre of Paramaribo with its white-painted wooden buildings, built on a foundation of red bricks.
