Hermosa Cove is a series of artfully-designed, relaxed, and comfortable Caribbean-style boutique villas. Bathed in natural light, each villa is nestled in an intimate garden setting for ultimate privacy. Together, the nine suites create a seaside village atmosphere.

There are a total of 15 rooms/three 3-bedroom villas and six 1-bedroom villas. Two villas offer an ocean view, but all nine villas are less than a 100-step stroll to the beach.

The lush, picturesque 12-acre Hermosa Cove seaside property is one of the prime locales on the north coast of Jamaica. Just five minutes from the center of Ocho Rios and yet totally secluded, this coveted tropical haven has a rich and interesting history. According to local historians, after a prominent and wealthy Boston family purchased the property in the late 1940s from the Lord and Lady Docker estate, the property was visited by many famous people of the time, including such Hollywood personalities as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. Known as the Jamaican Riviera, the area was immensely popular among the rich and famous of the 1950s and 60s.

This phenomenal piece of property captured the imagination of proprietors Clayton and Deb Korver, who passionately explored and developed the ideal vacation oasis to best suit the land, the people of Jamaica, and the high-end leisure travel market. Evocative of a slower, more seductive era, Hermosa Cove Villa Resorts and Suites is designed with the kind of deluxe details, services, and amenities to craft a five-star destination.

DINING

CHRISTOPHER'S
Named after Christopher Columbus (who called Jamaica "the most beautiful island he had ever seen"), our spectacular seaside restaurant features architecture reminiscent of Jamaica's golden age. The details can be seen in the hand-chipped stone, thatched roofs, and a meandering ocean's edge porch, all set under a rustic fortress' Juan's Lookout Tower, aptly named after Columbus' son.

Locally produced fruits and vegetables grown in volcanic-rich soil along with fresh island meats and seafood shape the cuisine at Christopher's, which is accented by international culinary techniques and preparations. Regional recipes, Spanish fare, and twists on Caribbean cooking are infused with historical culinary influences. The kitchen is centered on a 700-degree wood-fired oven, often stoked with pimento or mango wood.

Come as you are for a relaxed, casual breakfast or lunch. Dress up or down for dinner, where white tablecloths and sparkling wine glasses reflect the magnificent setting sun.

ISABELLA'S RUM BAR
A globally-sourced rum collection anchors Isabella's, named after the Spanish queen who gave Columbus the ships for his discovery of the New World (including the Caribbean). Enjoy made-from-scratch cocktails prepared with fresh-squeezed juices. Staff favorites include our signature Jamaican Firefly...and the sweetest fresh pineapple juice you've ever tasted.
