Ardastra Gardens Zoo & Conservation Center

Stroll around 51.5 acres of beautiful tropical gardens at Ardastra Gardens, Zoo & Conservation Center. Watch world-famous marching flamingos perform at 10:30am, 2:10pm and 4:10pm daily. Guests are invited to feed the Lory parrots daily at 11am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. There are also iguanas, snakes, monkeys, birds, including the rare Bahama parrot, and even a Vietnamese potbellied pig. Open daily 9am-5pm. Last admission 4:30pm.

Chubasco Charters

Chubasco Charters Nassau Sport Fishing Charters fleet consists of four sport fishing yachts all fully equipped for Sports fishing, Snorkeling, Sightseeing and Island Picnics. Chubasco and Chubasco III are 48' Hatteras, the largest in our fleet. They both provide all the comforts of home while on a laid back sightseeing, snorkeling, beaching charter or in search of the big one. Both have fly bridges, tuna towers, large fishing cockpits and comfortable air-conditioned interiors. They can comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons each for fishing and up to 12 persons for Sightseeing, Snorkeling and Island Picnicking. Chubasco VI is a 38' Hatteras Express, with a Marlin Tower, a large fishing cockpit and a covered seating area. Chubasco VI can comfortably accommodate up to 6 persons for fishing, sightseeing and snorkeling. Chubasco V is a 36' Tiara Express, with a Marlin Tower, large fishing cockpit and a covered seating area. Chubasco V can comfortably accommodate up to 5 persons for fishing, sightseeing and snorkeling.

Dolphin Encounters on Blue Lagoon Island

Going to the Bahamas? Looking for the dolphin experience in a travel guide? Dolphin Encounters is one of the top tourist attractions in the Bahamas and is owned and operated by a local family. It began in 1989 when two Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins were rescued from an aquarium that closed in Nassau, Bahamas. The animals were relocated to a large all-natural seawater bottlenose dolphin habitat on Treasure Island (a.k.a. Great Guana Cay) Abaco, Bahamas. Soon after, six more dolphins joined our marine mammal family which created the foundation of what is today known as Dolphin Encounters.

Flying Cloud

Take a high-speed sail aboard the Flying Cloud, a 57-ft catamaran, for a half-day of sailing and snorkelling (gear and lessons provided). Boat departs Paradise Island Ferry Terminal at 9:30am and 2pm Mon-Sat and 10am Sun. Evening cruise Mon, Wed and Fri at 6pm. Charters available. Space is limited so book early. Children 3-11 yrs half price. Round-trip transportation to the boat included.

John Watlings Distillery

John Watling's Distillery home to JOHN WATLING'S rum, the "Spirit of The Bahamas" offers complimentary tours at its home, the Buena Vista Estate, in Downtown Nassau. The historic Estate, founded in 1789 and overlooking the harbour, is the site where Bahamians hand-craft JOHN WATLING'S small-batch rums. At the Estate, John Watling's features a free production and museum-like tour, shopping and signature Bahamian cocktails at its Red Turtle Tavern. Within walking distance from the cruise ship port in Downtown Nassau, John Watling's Distillery is located on Delancy Street and is open from 10am-6pm, seven days a week (except for National Holidays) and on Friday's until 9pm.

Nassau Art Gallery

The NAGB is housed in the historic Villa Doyle situated on West and West Hill Streets, in Historic Charles Towne and on the border of Delancy Town, and is within easy walking distance of Downtown Nassau's port and main business quarter.
