DESCRIPTION:
Perched on nine acres in Montego Bay, Datura is a superior hillside villa originally built in 1930 by the editor of The New Yorker magazine. This five-bdrm, five-bath, child-friendly villa features a commercial kitchen, a screened-in dining room overlooking the ocean, grand living room with high ceilings and mahogany floors, antiques, a library, bar, TV room, CD/cassette player, radio, phone, fax machine, Internet access, games, laundry service and facilities, barbecue, hammocks, gazebo, tennis court, an activity coordinator, full staff, babysitting services and a large terrace overlooking a large swimming pool and hot tub. All bdrms have a ceiling fan, safe/lockable cabinet and ensuite bath. Three bdrms each have one double bed and two bdrms each have two twin beds. Several beach, five golf courses, watersports, entertainment, restaurants and shopping are all within a short drive of the villa.
