Anguilla resort ranked second of Top 20 International Resort Hotels

Cap Juluca placed number one in the Caribbean

Maundays Bay, Anguilla, BWI (September 7, 2005) - Readers of Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report have ranked Cap Juluca second on their listing of the Top 20 International Resort Hotels. This is the fourth year in a row that Cap Juluca placed number one in the Caribbean, a distinction which began in 2002 when Harper chose the hotel as Caribbean Hideaway of the Year.

This accolade is one of many the hotel has received over the past few years, the most recent being the naming of general manager Eustace Guishard as 2005 Hotelier of the Year, the highest honor bestowed by the Caribbean Hotel Association.

Andrew Harper (a nom de plume) began publishing his Hideaway Report twenty-six years ago and each issue conveys the observations of its editor. Combing the globe for peaceful sanctuaries in uniquely private settings, Harper obtains many of his leads for new places from thousands of unsolicited letters, field reports, and hotel critique cards he receives from loyal readers. Harper travels anonymously and his report carries no advertising.

Cap Juluca, a secluded, sophisticated, and romantic 179-acre retreat, offers 58 spacious luxury rooms and junior suites, seven suites, and six pool villas located in 18 very private, Moorish-style beachfront villas. All rooms have ocean views and air conditioning. The retreat features a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and a choice of two white-sand beaches – the stretch of Maundays Bay and Cove Bay, which is 1.5 miles long. Cap Juluca is also a member of Leading Small Hotels of the World.

For information and reservations contact Cap Juluca at 1-888-858-5822 or (264) 497-6779, or see their listing at www.caribbean.com/jsp/accommodation.jsp?filterType=name&name=CE¤tDestination=7.
