Sunset Resorts in Jamaica offer wedding packages

Book a seven-night stay and get married for free*


Montego Bay, Jamaica (May 24, 2007) – Sunset Resorts in Jamaica is saying “we do” to weddings with its new, We Do wedding package. Guests who stay a minimum of seven nights at Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Montego Bay or Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa in Ocho Rios can now get married for free, courtesy of the resort.*

Sunset Resorts welcomes couples for weddings both intimate and grand. Imagine saying your vows backed by Jamaica’s beautiful sunsets. Set up a splendid affair at the beachfront gazebo at the Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa. Marry barefoot in the white sands of Montego Bay. A tropical wedding in paradise will be an event to remember for years to come and you’ll want to repeat your unforgettable honeymoon again and again. And because Sunset Resorts are all inclusive, your guests and family can enjoy an affordable vacation while celebrating your new life together.

The We Do package includes all the trimmings: service of a marriage officer to perform the ceremony, services of our on-site wedding coordinator, picturesque wedding area, chilled bottle of champagne, single-tiered wedding cake (serves 4-6 people), bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, recorded music and two “Just Got Married” t-shirts.

For an additional cost, the ceremony and reception can be recorded, spa services and packages can be added, a private reception can be held, a live Jamaican steel or reggae band will have the guests grooving, plus a wedding album, a private sunset cruise and much more. Larger weddings can be arranged. Renewal of vows and special honeymoon and anniversary extras are also available.

All packages are based on double occupancy only and subject to availability. Reservation of an ocean-view category room or higher for a minimum seven-night's stay is required.

Summer rates, valid for travel April 9–December 22, 2007, range from $280 to $500 per room, per night, based on double occupancy at Sunset Beach Resort & Spa and from $325 to $575 per room, per night, based on double occupancy at Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa. Rates include accommodations with a private balcony, all meals, bar beverages, wine by the glass, non-motorized watersports, tennis, entertainment, taxes and gratuity.
