B&B Hotel The Lizard Inn
Kaya America #14, Kralendijk, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles
011 (599) 717-6877
The Lizard Inn is a bed & breakfast hotel at Bonaire and has 8 rooms and 4 spacious studios. Futhermore, it has a palm leave covered terrace (gazebo) and an outbuilding provided with reception, kitchen, and a spacious parking lot.
With only 15,000 inhabitants, Bonaire is one of the least populated islands of the Caribbean area. Unique on Bonaire: it has no traffic lights!
The capital, Kralendijk, on the west coast, is therefore the centre of the island. The only other city that has some significance is the old and authentic city Ricon which is situated in the inland.
Outside the town centre there is a vast landscape of small beaches, lagoons, mangroves, rocks, salt plains and desert-like areas. These areas are called "the kunuku", with towering kadushi cactuses and bent divi-divi trees. The "under-water-nature" is the best in the entire Caribbean! This is not only a paradise for divers, but also for snorkelers and surfers.
Hotel room for 2 persons ($80 per room) and studio with kitchenette for 2-3 person ($99 per studio).
