Punta Gorda, Belize (March 19, 2008) - Fishing enthusiasts can reel in the catch of a lifetime with one of Machaca Hill's fishing packages.

Situated just steps from the Rio Grande, the newly popular 12-cabana eco-lodge's prime location provides fishing for a array of species, including permit, tarpon, snook, jacks, snapper and barracuda.

With four packages available, ranging from three to seven nights in length, angers have a school of options to choose from.

Whether travelers select a three, five or seven night package, each is inclusive of a welcome drink, three meals per day, hors d'oeuvres and local beverages including beer and rum, as well as up the eight consecutive hours of fishing for every day of their stay.

Fishermen who prefer it to be just them and the sea can take advantage of the one person per boat packages available at the lodge, which provide the option of a single or double cabana. Rates for these packages range from $1,600 for three-night stay up to $5,100 for a seven-night stay.

Those wanting a buddy alongside them can select one of Machaca's packages allowing two people per boat with the option of a single or double cabana. Rates for these packages range from $1,170 for a three-night stay up to $3,910 for a seven-night stay

The area surrounding Machaca Hill Lodge offers phenomenal fishing and is a top place for anglers to catch the elusive permit. The lodge's locale has limitless prime permit fls and fisherman can also find a abundance of other fish including bonefish, just outside the flats nearby Sapodilla Cayes, and the area's rivers offer seasonal fishing for tarpon, snook and large jacks.

Packages range from there to seven nights in length and begin at $1,170. Rates are per person and are valid for travel through December 17, 2008.
