New York, NY, (November 5, 2008) - With the annual renovation and restoration of many of Barbados' west coast hotels and resorts now complete, Barbados is ready and primed for a busy Winter season ahead. In addition to several new and exciting developments to its existing properties, the Caribbean island eagerly welcomes the new Coral Reef Club Spa; The Crane Village; and prepares for the development stages of a brand new boutique hotel, Atlantis Hotel, opening on the east coast during late 2009.

The brand new, Coral Reef Club Spa opens in December 2008. The Spa, designed by British designer Helen Green, whose signature style combines a modern aesthetic with classic Barbadian charm, will use products from the multi award-winning luxury brand, Natura Bisse. Additionally, an exotic range of treatments using locally sourced plant life & fruits has been created by the Coral Reef Club Spa. New for 2009...
Inspired by the heritage architecture of bygone Barbados and steeped in Crane quality, The Crane Village, opening early 2009, is expected to become the new heart of this highly desirable resort community. The new facility will combine a new reception area; D'Onofrios, for fine Italian cuisine; the Village Cafe, serving fresh bread, daily; Bar 1887; 3,000 square feet of Duty Free shopping; Dingolay Boutique offering a covetable line of resort wear; the General Store; plus a signature store with art gallery and artisanal gifts. The owners of the wonderful Little Good Harbour on Barbados'west coast have set their sights on the legendary Atlantis Hotel on the east coast. Extensive renovation has already started with the objective of creating a boutique 10-room hotel. The opulent 35-room Treasure Beach hotel set in lush, tropical gardens has been fully re-decorated and its Al Fresco restaurant and bar have been completely re-appointed.
