Great savings at Bermuda’s 9 Beaches resort this fall

Outdoor- and sports-oriented resort offers 50 per cent off and fifth night free on selected cabanas

Sandys, Bermuda (September 12, 2005) – Save 50 per cent on selected cabana rates this fall at Bermuda’s newest and most casual resort, 9 Beaches. Catering to outdoor- and sport-oriented travelers, the only dress code at this casual resort is flip-flops.

Book before October 10, 2005 to receive 50 per cent off the regular cabana rates for travel through January 2, 2006. Now through October 10, 2005 double occupancy rates starts at $120 per night for Coco Coral cabanas and go as low as $85 between October 11, 2005 and January 2, 2006. Rates for the Sea Forever cabanas start at $140 per night, double occupancy, from now though October 10 and go as low as $115 between October 11, 2005 and January 2, 2006.

For an additional $150 guests can upgrade to an all-inclusive package, which includes breakfast, lunch and gourmet dinner daily, all drinks and cocktails (excluding specials from the resort’s wine cellar), a trip on the resort’s 47-foot motorized catamaran, plus all non-motorized sports and water equipment.

9 Beaches is also offering a “Fifth night free” promotion, applicable to their Top Banana and Aqua Vista cabanas, also valid for travel now through January 2, 2006.

A two-hour flight from most East Coast cities, 9 Beaches, true to its name, has at least nine beaches on its 18-acre property – and more water sports than any other Bermuda hotel or resort. Boasting an ultra-casual environment, the resort offers Wi-Fi service throughout the property and provides guests with complimentary cell phones to signal for service.

The resort’s 84 cabanas, styled by world-renown designer Lynn Wilson, sport a smart relaxed feel within their soft-sided walls, which are made of a space-age sailcloth-like material. All have large windows and double doors that open onto oceanview verandas. The Sea Forever cabanas, set back slightly from the water’s edge, offer direct access to the beach and unobstructed ocean views from the veranda. The Coco Coral cabanas, like watchtowers in a scenic wonderland, dot the bluffs and coves, and have partial views of the ocean as well as the coastline. Aqua Vista cabanas sit at the water’s edge offering unobstructed views of the ocean and Top Banana cabanas stand over the water on stilts and have viewing panels in the floor.

Four restaurants serve up Bermuda’s finest cuisine prepared by Chef John Pritchard, host of Canada’s Global TV “Red, Hot and Ready” program, and his talented team of chefs from around the globe. Guests can enjoy light cuisine overlooking the main beaches at the laid-back dockside bar and grill, Dark ‘n Stormy’s, internationally inspired cuisine served indoors or outdoors on the poolside deck at Hi Tide, and sunlit lunches and candlelit dinners on any of the nine gorgeous beaches courtesy of the Barefoot Gourmet.
