Jamaica’s 2006 Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival scheduled for January 26-28

Air Jamaica Vacations offers all-inclusive vacation packages starting at $719


Kingston, Jamaica (November 8, 2005) - Visitors yearning for a mid-winter escape will find it at the 2006 Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay, January 26-28. With a diversity of packages to choose from, visitors will have more reasons to leave the snow behind. This winter, travelers will enjoy more than just the sun, sand, and sea, but a whole line-up of music superstars performing under the stars on the luscious green lawns of Cinnamon Hill Golf Course.

The 2006 Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival: The Art of Music features an impressive and exciting lineup. January 26 features Shaggy, John Legend, Lyfe Jennings, and Morgan Heritage; January 27, Al Green, Air Supply, Nestor Torres, and Richie Stephens; and January 28, Ingram, Maxi Priest and Kem. Additional performers will be added to the lineup.

To coincide with the festival, Air Jamaica Vacations has created its own superstar lineup of travel packages. All-inclusive packages per person, including airfare and hotel accommodations for four days and three nights start at $719* for Sunset Beach, $815* for Breezes Montego Bay, $919* for Rose Hall, and $1,289* for the Ritz Carlton.

Packages do not include tickets to the festival. Tickets are US$50, US$55, and US$60 for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night respectively, while a three-day festival pass costs US$160. Tickets for the 2006 Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival: The Art of Music at The Rose Hall Resort and Country Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, are available from travel agents, tour operators, Air Jamaica, and select ticket outlets in Jamaica.

*Prices based on round-trip airfare, mid-week travel economy class on Air Jamaica from (gateways) January 26-29, 2006. Additional charges will apply for weekend, holiday, and peak season travel. US- and foreign government-imposed taxes and related fees of up to $90 per person are additional and due with final payment.
