Ponce, Puerto Rico (September 28, 2006) – Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort located in Puerto Rico unveils a newly-expanded casino this week.
The 4,000-sq-ft, $1 million expansion makes the casino the largest in Puerto Rico’s southern region. At 11,600 sq ft, the gaming facility at Hilton Ponce now boasts a total of 337 slot machines, including 60 coinless slot machines (in 1- to 5-cent denominations) with the new TITO (ticket-in ticket-out) system. Guests will also enjoy on-site pampering with a new area for massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. Additional enhancements include new restrooms, a giant screen and modern lighting system.
Along with new and improved gaming, guests at Hilton Ponce can enjoy accommodations in 100 new residential villas – part of the Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club – overlooking the pristine Caribbean Sea. The club, with a 27-hole, par-72 PGA championship world-class facility designed by Bruce Pesse Jr, features Puerto Rico’s first island green. The beachfront clubhouse offers private lounges, swimming pool and two restaurants.
