St. Lucia resort introduces new and improved dining venues and spa upgrades

VIEUX FORT, St. Lucia (May 25, 2011) - St. Lucia's top all-inclusive resort and recent recipient of the Travelocity Excellence Award, announces the introduction of new property upgrades just in time for summer.

Guests will enjoy the tastes of two new restaurants and can bask in the newfound tranquility at Kai Mer Spa with the addition of new organic spa treatments and facility upgrades.

Calabash, the resort's new Caribbean specialty restaurant, takes it up a notch with new menu items showcasing regional cuisine. Guests will find appetizers such as Grilled Shrimp, Fish and Sweet Potato Cakes with Pineapple Salsa and Jerk Chicken Drumsticks with Warm Callaloo Salad, followed by mouth-watering entrees including the St. Lucian Curried Chicken with Coconut Over Rice, Hearty Tuna Chowder with Plantain Chips and Coconut Crusted Red Snapper.

Guests looking to grab a quick bite while enjoying the sea breeze can enjoy Capri, offering an array of tasty Italian and seafood menu items in a casual Caribbean atmosphere. Menu highlights include Pumpkin Ravioli, Tortellini Scampi and Prosciutto Wrapped Snapper.

In addition to the recent dining upgrades, guests can indulge in an oasis of serenity at the resort's oceanfront, organic-infused Kai Mer Spa. which recently endured a facelift of its own. The refurbished waterfront spa now offers three new beachfront spa cabanas and a relaxation patio, perfect for massages for two or sampling the new organic treatments such as the Papaya/Pineapple Scrub and Wrap, Spicy Lime and Ginger Scrub or Rainforest Facial. Other offerings include moonlight massages for couples, accompanied by champagne. When guests select any of the spa's aloe treatments, they can pick their very own aloe from the resort's aloe garden prior to the treatment.
