Paralympic Athlete Ryan Chalmers Completes Ocean Frontiers Challenge Ryan assists Stay-Focused in offering SCUBA diving experiences to teens and young adults with disabilities Press Release 2012
Cayman Islands (November 30, 2012) - Congratulations to diver and Paralympic wheelchair athlete, Ryan Chalmers, and Stay-Focused Founder, Roger Muller, for finishing the Ocean Frontiers Green Short Challenge!
This challenge is for divers to visit each of the 55 dive sites within the East End dive zone in Grand Cayman and earn their Green Shorts.
As a mentor of the Stay-Focused programs, and previously a student, Ryan assists Stay-Focused in offering SCUBA diving experiences to teens and young adults with disabilities at whatever level they can achieve. Ryan's Push Across Cayman on November 24th was a build up to his Push Across America, which will begin on April 6, 2013 where he will push his racing chair from Los Angeles to New York in order to raise funds and awareness for the Stay-Focused organization.
